1)  Have you budgeted for an increase in regular expenses associated with a new baby?
2)  Do you intend to use childcare and if so how will you manage the costs?
3)  Can you afford any costs associated with big ticket baby proofing, such as a bigger car or a new nursery ?
4)  Will your health insurance meet your new needs or will you need to change plans?
5)  Have you researched parental leave options with your employer?
6)  Are you eligible for any government benefits?
7)  Will your legal documents need to be updated?
